No mailbox is spared from the attack of spam mails. When you open your mailbox every day, the spam folders overflow with mails than you regular inbox. Not a day goes by without encountering spam in one way or other. Of course latest anti spam software’s are invented but the spammers are more intelligent and they create newer and improved means to see to the fact that you receive a sizable amount of spam every day.

When you block an irrelevant and unknown mail you block it and delete it. When the mail is blocked it is considered as spam. Whenever the same mailer sends a mail the mail automatically ends in the spam folders. This is old way of deleting or filter spam. Today everyday the same spam might land in your regular mailbox coming from different mail ids. Suspicious mails when blocked crop up in another form just like a phoenix. Anti spam software defends the spam in a much better way.

What is an anti spam software? This software blocks spam even before it reaches the mailbox. It filters every mail received by checking it and cross checking it. Just like in the post offices these software’s sort mails into different folders like inbox, spam, etc. next it allows the users to securely open and read spam and find out if it is really is worthy of anything or not. It also allows nearly more than 95 percent security by identifying spam and filtering them. They are accurate and they don’t disturb the normal real mails coming your way.

Of all operating system Microsoft is the most effected by spam. Maybe it is because so many people use it. Or simply because it is less secure or more flexible so as to allow hawkers to easily break down its system. Whatever be the cause anti Microsoft spam will definitely help filter spam more efficiently and protect all Microsoft enabled programs and applications. The operating system itself offers anti spam tools for better protection and it upgrades security level regularly. Whenever you go online don’t forget to look for the latest security updates to protect your operating system from spam. Wage a wise war against spam and get relieved of the most irritating, frustrating and time consuming job you don’t ever want to encounter again. There is no doubt that anti spam is the one and the only trusted and tested solution to get rid from the unwanted and mails easier and faster.

I have McAffee suite and also Spamfighter(free), but in Yahoo E-Mails still get lots of spam. None though using Comcast for mail. So again excellent Anti Spam?

One thing that has plagued more or less all the Internet users is Spam. Thus, the biggest ask of todays Internet age is Anti Spam tools.

Many people get annoyed when they see their inboxes full of junk mails, which are hidden between the legitimate ones. This situation may lead to chaos as these people may inadvertently delete the legitimate e-mails while deleting the spam. Also, the spam mails can cause unnecessary burden over the servers by uploading lots of redundant data over them. Moreover, they may even contain viruses, spyware and trojans which can damage the whole system of the receiver.

Hence, people who are acquainted with these ill effects of the spam mails are on the constant look out for better and more advanced Anti Spam solutions to get rid of this menace. Therefore big software companies are continuously trying to develop Anti Spam solutions, spam blockers and e-mail spam filters. Anti Spam solutions are basically designed to check the sender’s name and address and filter the spam e-mails according to a black list of spammers they own. They may also check the recipients’ names and addresses and filter the spam mails according to certain parameters decided by them. Some Anti Spam solutions also use content filtering or Bayesian Logic. They can scan the e-mails and search for certain words or phrases which are common in most spam mails like ‘viagra’ or ‘click here’ and filter the spam e-mails accordingly.

However, these Anti Spam solutions are not infallible. If the software companies are trying to develop more and more advanced ways to block and filter spam, the spammers are also not sitting idle. They are also constantly inventing new ways to hoodwink these Anti Spam programs and cause havoc in the world of internet. Moreover, most of these Anti Spam solutions are not reliable as they may delete some very necessary e-mail taking them as spam. This might happen if a legitimate sender makes use of some of the terms which favorites among the spammers or use an IP address that has been used by spammers in the past. Thus, a reliable Anti Spam solution is one, which minimizes these false positives by adopting a comprehensive anti spam approach by examining both the message content as well as the history of the sender. Moreover, an effective anti spam software is one, which learns the user preferences by analyzing his behavior towards some particular messages. For instance, most of us may delete the messages containing the word ‘viagra’ but some medical organizations may not do so.

Thus, while no Anti Spam software is perfect, still we should use them to reduce the risk of getting plagued by the menace of spam mails.

I use McAfee security for my computer and in my security center it says that I need to fix internet & network and e-mail & IM. I cannot automatically fix these because it says I need to fix them somehow manually. It says I need to reinstall McAfee anti-spam. How do I do this?
